I have done the 'read in plain text only', and opened an email. There was an attachment as well as the body content (which is MISSING in my problem). I closed W.L.M. and reopened it. Then UNdid the plain text setting. Whether it solves anything, only time can tell.

Do you think that List of Windows Live Essentials 2011 Uninstallers would contribute to the success sought ?

I saw a link to Windows live Essentials Writer 2013 - I do not want to install Writer, but it suggests there may be an upgrade to the 2011 version of Windows Live Essentials. Any opinion ?

Sure give it a try. The windows live program gives you the option to choose which one you want to install.

Emails are not now opening as bodies-converted-to-attachments; AND the indelible emails have now been deleted one by one. TRYING to open them, seems to have made them deletable. So currently there is NO problem. Can't predict the future.

HELP: how can I make windows live mail 2011 show the email body again
I am using Windows Live Mail 2011 but for the last weeks it has not shown any email body information, only attachments in text or html form, which do open when you click on them. It takes a long time for it to decide what to show, and after reading up on the net, it seems to be a common...

Hi I'm not entirely sure this is the best forum for this but couldn't see anywhere else. When you're posting/submitting articles/posts for possible posting on other sites they often ask you to submit it in plain text (Notepad) form by way of an email attachment. I've noticed recently...
