popup - IE has stopped working

I just happened again while searching forum. I'll refer you to my post just a bit ago in Performance & Maintinence: "Maybe answer to 99%",etc. I did forget to post my screen shots there so will do here. oops, can't find the one of Events Viewer or maybe I forgot to take a shot of that & don't know how or if to put this post on hold so will just send the IE shot even tho' I wonder if there's an EV error that goes along with the IE error.

I will go in search for answers myself but will probably get knocked off again so will go ahead & add just a few shots from Event Viewer.

Try restoring internet Explorer to factory settings: Internet Explorer - Reset

Thanks dude but did that last week too.

I did get the IE close window when I tried againto search this forum so closed out & went to BING search. Spent somne time there & never got the IE close error but saw lots of answers talking about overheating. I don't feel any warmth coming from my tower but best go in search of some sort of heat test I guess.

I hate to go elsewhere 'cuz this is my favorite for good help.

yup, tried searching this forum for heat test & git IE close again.

I was here searching again earlier & had the popup several times so went into Event Viewer where it looked like all of them had WOT in the description so I uninstalled WOT, came back & had no popups! I'm not sure I can live without WOT so may re-install but will mark this solved for now.

    Thanks.
