Windows 7: Google Chrome Babylon Remove Search Engine

Google Chrome Babylon Remove Search Engine

Please help me, I was downloading skype I think and the Babylon search engine wont come off of my google chrome. I have removed it from my add/remove programs... Please help me. The bar is getting annoying!

It can be a real bugger to get rid of. You have uninstalled it via add/remove programs, give this a go and see if it will work. Make sure it is not listed in “Extensions” or “Plugins. In Chrome, Go to the Wrench icon -> Tools -> Extensions. Uncheck “enabled” next to Babylon and then press the “Remove” button.
You must restart your browser for the changes to take effect.
And you will most likely have to set your home page to another default search provider.

Also, change the default back to your choice.

Click the wrench icon> Tools> Settings> Basics tab> Search> Find the box asking you to enter your favorite search engine, if Babylon search is there, remove that URL, and enter the one you want.
