Help with Chrome browser, zoom issues on 1920x1080 display

    Hi,
I'm running the latest official release of Google Chrome Browser.

I have laptop with 1920x1080 display and if Chrome is set at 100% zoom, everything is too small.

When I set Chrome to 150% zoom, things look okay. The problem is that for some webpages in Chrome, 150% zoom messes up the page really bad to the point where the webpage is almost unusable (overlapping pictures, text, etc). For webpages with this problem I find that I have to either have Chrome zoomed to a multiple of 100 (so either 100% zoom, 200%, 300%, etc). The problem is that doing so makes the page obnoxiously too big or too small. I've tried different zoom related plugins to help fix this issue but nothing works.

I notice I do not have this problem with Internet Explorer. I'm able to zoom in or out without the contents of the webpage becoming jumbled.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you

Unfortunately, I know of only two options, neither of which I think you will be keen to.

    1) Use IE9. I have both IE9 and Chrome installed on my computer, and I prefer IE9. I mainly use Chrome for the apps you can use with it, but for general browsing I prefer IE.

    2) Reduce the resolution on your computer to 1600x900. This will make everything on the screen bigger, including web pages. I know it seems suboptimal to use a lower resolution than what the screen is capable of, but the difference in picture quality is minor and it will most likely solve your issue.
