    Textbox input text VERY small

    I don't understand why this is happening, I've reset my browser MULTIPLE times and I've also tried to upgrade to IE9 but it fails during installation. This is very irritating as I have a lot of forms to fill out every day for college and I can't even read what I'm writing.

    Help?

    Edit: Not every textbox does this. For example the search engine on this website does not do it and the textbox I am typing in now does not do this. It seems like anything in a form does this.

    Edit 2: I've noticed that drop down menus are the same, it's almost like the font has a superscript html tag for some reason.

    I wonder if you have the same problem with entering text in the box you used to type your question. Is the problem only with text entry boxes in browser windows and not with other programs like Windows Explorer (for files not for the internet).

    I'm surprised resetting the browser doesn't help since the default options are correct for most of us. However there appears to be a workaround:http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...3-052c2aa71f72 .

    This is a surprisingly old problem. It just started here a couple of weeks ago with IE 10. Just did a GPU upgrade and thought it might be an AMD driver thing. But everything looks fine with Firefox.
    Reset IE, no help installed IE 11, no help. Tried the fix above, no help. No Stardock stuff.
    It is just IE search boxes and forms. And not every one. No problem with large typed text boxes like forums.
    Surely someone here has fixed this problem. I'm out of ideas.

    I googled and found these ideas:

    1) "Try unchecking "Enable visual styles on buttons and controls in webpages" in Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing"

    2) " The issue IE8 has, that they admitted to, is that it does not fully support skins, so, when I used my alienware skin it messed it up. The way to fix it (the input fields etc.) is to make a custom CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) and have IE use that as the default style. To do this, open up notepad, and type:
    INPUT {
    font-size: 10pt;
    }
    Now save it as what ever you want, but make sure the file extension is .css and not .txt from here go to internet options, then on the main page click on accessibility in the bottom right, in the new window check the box under User Style Sheet, then click browse and locate your CSS file. Note that the CSS must remain intact to function, so I suggest placing it somewhere safe. I put mine in the ie8 folder. This only fixes input fields(buttons, and password/username fields) textareas(large text fields for comments or something) are unaffected. I've been trying to add textarea {font-size: 10pt;} to the CSS but it does not appear to work. "

    3) "Anyway, my problem is solved. I never actually thought it was windowblinds, & was very surprised when I tried to check & it turns out that it actually really was."
