I am having the same problem. How can I disable / remove the "find" toolbar that just appears??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Hello tbstock, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You should be able to click on the X just to the left of the Find box on the toolbar to close it. :)

Thank you for the quick reply. I know that I can click the 'x' and close it. That is a PAIN! This toolbar has only been with me for a couple of weeks after I updated Windows 7. I want to REMOVE or DISABLE this toolbar completely so that I do not have to EVER see it again. Any ideas?

Depending on what toolbar you installed and if this is for Internet Explorer, then you could use the tutorial below to disable the responsible toolbar.
In addition, you could uninstall the toolbar in Programs and Features if listed.

The "Find" toolbar is in EVERY open window! Not only IE. I do not see the toolbar listed in Programs and Features. Any other ideas?

Please go ahead and post a few screenshots of this "Find" toolbar to help make sure we have the correct one. :)

You can see the "Find" toolbar at the bottom of the open email window on my desktop. You will see the letter 'T' in the box.

Anything that I type goes into this Find box on the Find toolbar. Note that my courser is in the compose section of the open email window. Even though the courser is in the compose section of the open email window, the type is entered into the Find toolbar.

There must be some way to remove or disable this horrible toolbar!

That appears to be a built-in feature of your "Workspace Webmail" plugin for Firefox.

Does "Find" not stay closed if you click on the X to close it?

It is NOT built into Workplace Webmail. I have the same issue on ALL windows that are open. Firefox, IE etc.

Find stays closed if I 'x' in each individual opened page. When a new page is opened the Find bar is back. RELENTLESS!!!!

Is the Find bar only displaying in web browsers?

Without knowing exactly what it is, you could try disabling your installed toolbars and add-ons in each browser to see if one may be the culprit.

I found the solution! The problem was with my Logitech K350 keyboard! I started using an old wired keyboard and NO MORE "FIND" BAR!!! Used the wired board for a couple of days and no problems. Switched back to my old Logitech K350 and the Find bar came back!

Bought a new Logitech k350 yesterday and it is working great. The problem was clearly with my old Logotech K350 keyboard!!!

    Thank you for you assistance.
