Windows 7: Zombie Chrome

Zombie Chrome

I installed Chrome on my wife's computer. The first time, it did not display an icon nor did it show up anywhere in the start menu. The second time, it still did not display an icon but showed up in the start menu. It would not start. I tried to uninstall it but it would not uninstall.

I logged into her machine as myself, installed Chrome and it ran as expected. Logged out, logged in as her and began deleting all files not know to her (with her standing right there). Since there was a lot of anti-virus junk (Norton, McAfee, download managers, etc) I thought these were somehow blocking Chrome. Once we got rid of all assumed junk I ran CCleaner. Chrome would still not run nor uninstall.

Any ideas how I can uninstall Chrome and get it to work?

The main problem is she can't run most YouTube videos without endless buffering. I get this problem sometime then switch to Chrome and the buffering problem goes away.
