Zone Alarm Security and Java

I just thought I would pass this along as it took me a long time to find the answer. == If you are having a problem with Java showing in your browser, it could be because Zone Alarm is blocking it out. To clear this you need to go into your Zone Alarm Firewall and enter two IP Addresses to the Trusted Zones. == 8.8.88.53 and 75.98.163.66 == Doing this and rebooting will make your Java run fine. This might also apply to other firewalls, not sure. Thanks,

I had the same problem but entering those IP adresses to zonealarm didnt help. So I installed old version of Java, Java 6 from here: Java Downloads for All Operating Systems Version 6 Update 33 (both 32-bit and 64-bit)
Now Java works fine again...
