Turn off caret browsing

I have tried clicking the F7 key to turn off caret browsing. This does not work. Any suggestions?

Am unable to type. Is it possible the keyboard is bad?

It's possible, did you try the fix?

Do you have another keyboard?

How did you type your post here?

It is a different computer--therefore could not download the fix. HP thinks the keyboard is bad, although the computer is new. Guess we'll know when we try a different keyboard.

OK, if you have a flash drive you could download it and put on the flash drive then move to your other computer.

Or try another keyboard.

Let us know how it goes.
