Google Chrome & Waiting for Cache

    Hi guys,

for a long time now I am using Google Chrome. Used FF and Opera before, but I am pretty happy with Chrome now. But there is one thing that really is annoying.

Frequently Google Chrome is saying "WAITING FOR CACHE" and then it blocks/freezes my entire system for at least 30 Seconds or more. Everything else is stopped for that time. I already clean my cache more often, already completely removed Chrome and installed it fresh with a new user profile.

But no matter what I do, its coming back all the time.

    WAITING FOR CACHE

is driving me insane. I have found nothing to get rid of that. I am only a few steps away from not using Chrome anymore, but I would not let go of it if I wouldn't have to.

So if anyone has a good idea to fix that, without getting rid of Google Chrome and switching to another Browser again, I would really appreciate the help.

In case its necessary to have info about what Extensions I use in Google Chrome:

    • Adblock Plus (Beta) 1.2
    • Facebook Ads Blocker 1.1.0
    • Freemake Video Converter 1.0.0
    • Imgur 1.1.2
    • Melanto Calculator 2.0.0.9
    • NotScripts 0.9.6
    • Quick Note 1.3.7
    • Session Buddy 3.0.16
    • Simple Mail Checker for Gmail 3.0.13
    • Tapatalk Notifier 2.0.4
    • Turn off the lights 2.0.0.106
    • Webpage Screenshot 5.4.9.9

    I also used...
    • Click & Clean

but don't use it anymore since it didn't really help me with my problem.

You might try moving the cache from the default location, and/or change the cache size.

In googling (no pun intended), this is a common problem.
