Windows 7: forwarding photos within emails with win live mail

forwarding photos within emails with win live mail

I have a HP/compac win 7-64. I am using win live mail and some times when I forward an email with photos and captions a screen pop up tells me the program can't find the photos and do I still want to send. I'll send it to my self to see what happens and the photos end up as little ones across the top of the email with a word like " slideshow" underneath them. The place where they were in the email is a blank box with a little red X in the corner. Somewhere I read you have to save it to a file and then send that but that is a bunch of extra work I would like to avoid.
There are times when no photo goes thru at all. Would I be better off to go to another email program? If so which one ? I have hot mail, gmail and yahoo but haven't used them.
I also have 600 names in about 10 email groups that is critical for me to keep in a group. Thanks in advnce for your help. Conrad
