Firefox & Chrome They both crash randomly when opening a new page sometimes it happens others it doesn't, Its getting pretty annoying because Firefox is what i love, and only IE8 doesn't crash -_- this didn't happen on my laptop with windows 7 though, which is making me think maybe I did something wrong building this computer.
any Ideas that would be causing the crashing?
Its not the lame (not responding) **** I get each browsers custom crash dialogue | My System Specs |

Usually caused download managers, add-ons, third party applications, antivirus programs that have browser add-ons, or scan as you search - free avast works 100% for me. Sometimes monitoring programs that enhanced internet speed. Check all your programs if they are suspect take them out of startup - type "msconfig.exe" in search select startup and deselect - disable all your add-ons that you think might be the problem - basically see if you can get the browsers to work then use the process of elimination. I know firefox works ok with IE8 - not sure if the 3 would work in harmony. | My System Specs | | OS XP, Vista, W7 64bit Home Premium CPU Intel Core Duo 6850 3.0 ghz @ 3.7 ghz Motherboard Asus P5E Memory 4GB Corsair DDR 2 PC-6400 Graphics Card Ati 4870 1ghz Sound Card Supreme FX 11 Monitor(s) Displays View Sonic VX1962wm Screen Resolution 1680 X1050 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard Mouse Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical PSU Thermaltake 600 watt Case NZXT Alpha Cooling 3X120cm Fans Hard Drives 3 Seagate Sata Drives 160gb 250gb 500gb Internet Speed 1.5Mb to 8Mb/384k |

Do a sytem restore and try adding the browsers 1 at a time, and checking the first one before adding the second - sorry to sound as though I'm trying to annoy you, but like you say its new with no other avenues really - except, well, only just thought of it - your ethernet driver maybe the problem - try updating it - if its marvell yukon go here - Marvell: Download Drivers | My System Specs | | OS XP, Vista, W7 64bit Home Premium CPU Intel Core Duo 6850 3.0 ghz @ 3.7 ghz Motherboard Asus P5E Memory 4GB Corsair DDR 2 PC-6400 Graphics Card Ati 4870 1ghz Sound Card Supreme FX 11 Monitor(s) Displays View Sonic VX1962wm Screen Resolution 1680 X1050 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard Mouse Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical PSU Thermaltake 600 watt Case NZXT Alpha Cooling 3X120cm Fans Hard Drives 3 Seagate Sata Drives 160gb 250gb 500gb Internet Speed 1.5Mb to 8Mb/384k |

Why would you have to reburn it, you can re-use the last burned disk. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom | Whitebox OS Windows 7 Ultimate, OS X 10.7, Ubuntu 11.04 CPU Intel E6750 @ 3.80GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L (Revision 1.1) Memory 2x2GB & 2x1GB (6GB) OCZ Reaper 1066MHz @ 1080MHz Graphics Card EVGA nVidia GTX 260 896mb (216 Core) FTW Edition Sound Card Realtek ALC888 Monitor(s) Displays 21" VIZIO TV Screen Resolution 1680x1050 @ 60Hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless S520 Mouse Logitech Wireless S520 - Microsoft Wireless Arc Mouse PSU Corsair 750W Case NZXT Nemesis Elite Cooling Thermaltake SpinQ Hard Drives Western Digital WD6401AALS - 640GB
