Yes I was able to. Permission restrictions do not allow for screen captures.

Two things I didn't see mentioned. If I missed them my sincerest apologies. Only one remaining brain cell and it doesn't always work.

Clear browsing history, cookies, temp files, etc.

Internet Explorer 9 - Delete Browsing History

    Reset IE to default settings.

    Internet Explorer - Reset

I know you mentioned you can't access the site even with Firefox so the above probably won't help. But it probably won't hurt, either.

Have you checked whether the firewall is blocking that site? - does the site function on other computers in the same group policy?

Contact your IT department. We can't help you get around restrictions put in place by them.

    iroro,

You are using a computer with an enterprise version.

    This is a company computer.

You must talk with your IT department.

    Have a nice day!

I am in the I.T department hahaha. My guess is an OS malfunction as I have attempted to:

    Add as trusted site
    Look via compatibility mode
Go to web address as an IP
    Reset privacy options
    Tried different browsers
    Attempted to ping

    All to no avail.

You have a company firewall in the way, probably, or your Hosts file is loaded.

What do you mean by this?
It is not the firewall as in this building we have access to the website from all of the other 340 odd computers on the same network.
