You have improperly opened two browsers at the same time

I have a new workstation which has Windows 7, IE8 64-bit. When I open a second browser, I receive a dialog box [1] with the message "You have improperly opened two browsers at the same time. Close this browser immediately".

When I select OK, I receive a dialog box [2] with the message "The webpage you are viewing is trying to close the tab. Do you want to close this tab?"

When I select No, and attempt to view the next browser page, it [3] displays "Serious user error: You have improperly opened two browsers at the same time. Please close this browser immediately.

I get the same result when I select IE from the Start Menu without the 64-bit.

I am not sure how to resolve this issue. I switched to tabbed IE browsers, but it did not help.

Attached are the screenshots for the error messages above. Thank you.

Set the homepage to
about:blank
and see if you can open more than one IE window.

In that case, you should contact your I.T. department or system administrator for directions, we cannot help you circumvent the restrictions that your I.T. dept. or sys admin has implemented.

Size of folders keep changing each time they are opened.
I can change the size of a folder to be able to view all the icons in it, then close the folder when I am done. Half the time when I reopen a folder it has changed to a different size than what it was when I last opened it. This never happened when I had Windows XP, but now that I have upgraded...

Hello, and good day to all of you! Now, I'll stop wasting your time and get down to business if I may. :D I have recently updated to Windows 7, and I must admit, that I have NEVER experienced a BSOD on any computer before, and certainly not my own - indeed, the OS has been running just fine...

Only a few websites available, most time out (all browsers, all rigs)
Really strange... Only websites working at the moment from those I try (all rigs, all browsers) are SF, 8F, Google, Speedtest.net and a Finnish newspaper plus GUI's for our two IPTV services. All others time out: CNN, BBC, TechNet, German and Finnish news sites, WordPress, online banking etc. ...

User folder resorts every time its opened...
Okay. This is just... irritating. I keep alot of crud in my user folder. Used to do said with My Doccuments in 2k3/2k/XP. That said the user folder really takes that slot in W7. But whenever I have it set to Sort By Type, every damn time I open the folder it takes a few seconds to resort...
