    Yahoo search problem

When I do a search with Yahoo does the obvious of bringing up results closest to my match but when I click on one it opens in a pop up now! I went into settings and I can't see an option that says open in pop up I only see under search in toolbar preferences search history navigation history and always open results in a new tab which I have unticked. Doe's anyone have any idea how to sort this.Oh I only noticed this as of today. Thank you in advance

    Hi hollyoaks777,

My name is Uttam Kumar, from dell Dell Social Media Community team.

In response to your query, you may try the below setting changes.
Go to Tools, click Internet options, under ‘Change how webpages are displayed in tabs’ click settings. Under option ‘When a pop-up is encountered’ click on the radio button adjacent to ‘Let IE decide how pop-ups should open’ and click on ‘OK’ and restart the Internet Explorer.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi hollyoaks777,

Thanks for the reply, & sorry to hear that the issue still persists, adding to the above want to know which browser & version of the browser are you using, you can also try this in a different browser or can do a reset of the browser, but a complete reset on the browser might delete the saved passwords & form data so before doing a reset you can uncheck those options & continue & also please let us know if it was working alright for some reasons & again the problem still continued as per your above reply.

let us know if this helps

    Thanks & Regards

    Thanks for the reply mate
Here is the answer on the home page of Yahoo click more just above the search bar, then under Yahoo personal search Yahoo search preferences Display & Layout Open results in a new tab or window hit edit and No. I don't know why Yahoo keep changing things People are going to end up leaving Yahoo. So Yahoo please listen to your customers.
