Ctrl C starts internet chrome or internet explorer

After installing office 2007 sp1 on a Windows 7 system some keyboard keys were changed to start google chrome.
After uninstalling google chrome ,windows explorer was started
The keys were Cntrl C , Cntrl Z ...., the "1" and the "3" on the numeric keyboard
After uninstalling office 2007 the problem was solved
Does anyone has an idea why office 2007 caused the problem

Because, mate, it is office XP. Not office 2010.

Quite emphatically, it was never meant for Windows 7

Well, then I don't know. 2010 works best on Windows 7 (I imagine), but 2007 should work completely fine also. You might wait a bit longer to see if anyone with knowledge on this error should pop in. Sorry mate
