How Do I Delete Hotmail Hidden Contacts

I have windows 7 64 and in my hotmail there are email accounts that I can't delete. They must be spam placed there from a website I visited. When I click on CC, they show up in the list, but when I go to manage my contacts, they are not there.

How do I get rid of them?

    Welcome to Seven forums sixhandicap

Sorry but I'm confused whether you're talking about "Windows live mail" or hotmail as in hotmail.com?

    No problem.

Have you tried just hitting the delete key when they appear?

Do that and let me know if they appear the next time you type them in CC or TO.

I want to know how to delete them permanently in my Contacts not just within the message. There in lies the problem, they don't show up in Contacts just when I use To or CC or BC

    Thanks

I get what you're trying to say.

My guess is its the auto-complete feature like gmail and outlook have.
The contact is not added on your contact list, but appears when you type them.

I am searching for the settings that will stop that from happening but have you tried what I suggested in my earlier post?

Btw, what version of windows live mail are you using?

Yes, I tried deleting them in the To/CC/BCC window but they won't delete.

    Thank you for your efforts
