    The new ads. Can't disable it, and it gets MS more money.

    Yeah I know what you mean bassfisher trouble is I think they are turning off hotmail and that is the account I went over to so it means finding something else and letting EVERYONE know the new address is - that is a downer to put it politely

    Why they just could not leave well enough alone - money again it seems the greed is beyond belief

    I doubt they are turning off hotmail, and not any time soon. You can switch back the same way you switched to outlook.com - cog-wheel (options) and select switch back.

    Ok mate I went and got my ISP account sorted just to make sure - it is one of the reasons I went hotmail as it kept dropping out.

    It's shame though as I must admit it is quick.

    I saw them ads too. Apparently M$ is doing so poorly they need to flood us with some really dumb ads.

    Yeah I agree too and part of me also thinks it is greed that plays some part in that, and speaking for myself I would be far more likely to use, buy and to recommend Microsoft products if they made just plain down to earth products especially the software.
    .
    I mean with the amount of Windows software alone - not counting the hardware stuff like keyboards that I personally like - the money they make is beyond our comprehension eh?
