Google Chrome dont work with youtube search

    *sigh* Hmm... Try updating your java version which can be done at www.java.com. Also try updating your Adobe Flash Player at Adobe Flash Player - Downloads.

    Java didnt work (java 7 update 5) and flash player updates when chrome updates. I'm running out of options here.

    Well, the obvious answer would be to switch browser, but i just cant get away from chrome

    What happens if you place your cursor in Chrome's address field and then press tab? For me, that places the cursor into the search field.

    If updating to the latest beta does not help, then save the file attached to this post, rename it by removing the dot txt part, drag/drop it into Chrome. It should be just the top part of the YouTube page. Can you type in the search field now?
