| | Need to restore Outlook contacts and e-mail, contents never saved wasn't sure which section this belonged in, so i thought i'd ask here. a serious disruption caused me to have to reinstall windows 7 again, but the old windows 7 copy(windows.old) was saved. however, the outlook 2007 contacts and e-mails were never saved, so now, how can i retrieve the e-mails and contacts? thanks in advance! |

| | Search the Windows.old folder for any .pst or .ost files. Those can be imported back into Outlook. |

| | I'm not sure what all gets captured and put into the Windows.old folder, but if one of those files was present, you'd have what you needed. |
