    Firefox Add ons

I have tried this with two different versions of Firefox and both did the same thing.

I wanted the Video Download Helper addon. I found a page where that addon was at:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...ownloadhelper/

I clicked on the "+ Add to Firefox" button and got this:

    Firefox Add ons-ffaddon1.jpg

Clicked on "Install Now" button and it said it did install and to restart Firefox and I did.

Here is what I see on FF:

    Firefox Add ons-ffaddon2.jpg

If I go to a page that has a video clip either stay on that page or play the video it DOES NOT give me option to download the video.

I have used that addon before and the icon does NOT look right to me.

    What am I doing wrong?

It will be there somewhere on you firefox window, you might have to move things about since your using a custom theme and other toolbars.

I have looked and looked and I have not been able to find it. I would not mess with Firefox if IE had anything like this addon that allowed me to download videoes.

Create a new profile and then try downloading that add on and see if it works, you may have a corrupt profile here is a tutorial that will show you how to create a new profile Firefox - Create and Run Multiple Profiles
