IE cookies storage location can be kept seperate from temporary files?

I am preparing my system for SSD migration, my hdd is getting very grindy and slow even simply browsing, eg. moving to different parts of a youtube video pauses for a second with hdd activity.

So I moved the IE temp folder to a ram disk I made (this also save some writes on my new ssd when I migrate) and I thought great job done as IE snappy.

However I also see my cookies in that folder which will be gone when I reboot, not good. I have some permanent cookies which stop me needing to login to sites again and again.

So it seems I either need to keep IE temp files on permanent storage, or be willing to lose my cookies whenever I reboot.

Can the cookies be put in a seperate folder away from the temp cache files?

Well I don't save any cookies but try this. Start and type cookies and there will be a list of things to do with cookies. Ccleaner also has a option dealing with cookies in the Option selection.

Just use the SSD, the current reports from those that use SSds here have stated that mitigating writes to the drive is pointless.

Temps = temporary. I have never removed anything from temp that hurt anything. Storing cookies for passwords on your computer to me is unsafe. If your hacked they get all of them.
