Click on the blue button on top left and choose Options>Mail
Go to the read tab click on fonts button at the bottom and you will have option in the font size,Medium,Large,Largest.

Thanks for your prompt response: The procedure you recommended appears to apply to the HEADER INFORMATION IN THE READ PANE after you open a message. My original request may have not been clear but I am interested in: Increasing the font size in the upper pane that displayes the incoming message list ( I display FROM, SUBJECT, DATE ) before a message is selected for reading.
Sorry, I misread your question. I'm fairly sure WLM does not provide a feature to increase font size in preview pane. But if you go to control panel click on display you can change display size for the computer. There is also a magnifier tool which you can play about with to see if that suits your needs, anyway have a look and see. It can always be changed back if it does not suit you. Sorry but thats all I can suggest to you.
