Probably there's a bug with the latest version and I think you should just stick with version 14 till a new one comes out.
Btw, did this addon work okay with the earlier versions you used? Let me know.

I'll try calling for more help.
I tested FF version 14 and 13 and they all crashed.
I guess I will have to reinstall win7

Okay.

So are you just using that addon to test if firefox crashes? Or you actually do need that addon?

A clean install is always good.

Doubtful that you will need to reinstall wndows unless something has been done of which we are not aware.

Now , believe it or not, you have System Restore points.

Use this procedure and pick a restore point before your problems occurred.

RESTORE TO A PREVIOUS SYSTEM RESTORE POINT
1) WIN | type SYSTEM RESTORE | ENTER | NEXT
| Choose a different restore point radio button | NEXT
2) Show more restore pointscheckbox (lower left)
3) Highlight the desired restore point
4) Scan for affected programs(lower right)make a note of affected programs
5) CLOSE | NEXT | FINISH

WIN = key with the wavy Microsoft flag on top.

can you try and create a new profile for firefox,
follow this guide,
Creating a new Firefox profile on Windows - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
if it works and no crashes then we can look at moving the old profile into the new.

i recommend that you do not use this "uninstaller pro" product in the future.

such a product is not needed with Win 7.
