keep getting "Internet Explorer Has Stopped"

Tried resettting, Mr Fixit, etc. Uninstalled IE9, figured it was corrupted. Have IE8 now, but I can't reinstall EI9. Getting error messages that it was unable to continue..... Help!

Welcome to Seven Forums ZX14GUY. Sorry your post went unanswered. Can we assume you uninstalled IE9 and it reverted to IE8 which is now working correctly?

If so, you are now trying to reinstall IE9, and it is unsuccessful?

How are you trying to reinstall IE9? From windows update? If so, when you try and it does not work, what is the exact error you receive? A picture is worth 1000 words:

If any of what I wrote is incorrect, correct it. Otherwise, follow up with what I suggested, and we can go from there. A Guy
