I've always used Yahoo Mail as my default mail program in sending out mass e-mail campaigns (yes, believe it or not), as Yahoo has been letting one send a fairly large amount for each mailing (mine are all opt-in, can-spam compliant lists). I've always been able to insert into the TO:
field a list from my Yahoo database.
As of today, September 16, this feature of inserting a list into one of the fields seem to no longer exist! VERY DISTURBING
, to say the least.
Can anyone recommend a good mail program with the following criteria:
- Ability to insert a list into a field, as mentioned above
- Ability to embed a photo into the body of the text message itself without it going as an attachment
- Ability to send a large number of e-mails at one time in an e-mail broadcast
- A mail program that has withstood the "test of time"
Thanks so much for any input . . . from anyone. Larry
