    Bing bar adding bookmarks

There is a huge space on bing bar and I don't want another toolbar just to put my bookmarks, narrowing browsing space. Is there a way to add site shortcuts on bing bar?

I installed the Bing bar to see what you were asking about. From my brief time with the bar, it would seem that it reserves that "empty space" so that you can add more apps to the bar. Look at the setup button (3 little circles) on the far right of the bar and then select Apps to see the "stuff" that you may be missing out on.

AFAIK, you cannot add shortcuts to the Bing Bar and I could not get the bar to share the row with the favorites bar. Even after removing all of the apps from the bar - it still hogs the entire row in the browser.

Just so you know - the Bing bar has a service that runs all of the time on your computer - even if your browser is closed.

Bing bar = not impressed :-(

Interesting thing is, I already have a bookmark on my bar, my computer manufacturer's website. So I tought it was possible.

It appears that the manufacturer wrote a Bing bar app to make that "bookmark".
