Microsoft Outlook - What is send/Receive?

    Hello,

I installed MO 2010 but what is send/receive? Does that mean if I click on it. The emails in my draft will be sent? Or I just receive the latest emails into my account?

I don't want to send anything from my account

    What does it mean exactly?

    Thank you!

    1. Outlook 2010 is an email program and it's primary purpose is to send and receive emails. It needs to be setup properly with the correct settings so that it can send and receive emails.
You need to go to accounts in the File menu and account settings. then you can change the configuration of your email. clicking on the send/receive icon will send any emails that you have in your outbox and retrieve any emails waiting for you to download.
