Yahoo mail and Messenger

I am new here so please excuse any boo boos

When I go to Yahoo Messenger, then click on Yahoo mail, which is shown in the task bar, I get a tinny sound and this message: There was a problem sending the command to the program. Then I have to go to my mail from IE 8.I have un-installed and reinstalled Yahoo Messenger but it still happens.

When trying to create a sign-in seal on Yahoo mail classic, when I choose an image, I keep getting: Sorry, that file seems to be corrupted. Please select a different image.

When I Create a Text Seal, after creating, there will be a small red x.

How can these be fixed? Many thanks!

Hmmmmm, I just noticed that when I select all and try to change font to Century Gothic in this message, it stays at Verdana. Have tried several times.

P.S. My first name is two words - Anna Ruth. Mom gave me two first names. Just did not want you to think that Ruth is the last name.
