Where can I find IE 8 that works with Windows 7 Ultimate X64 or a repair program?I have looked all over...

Clay, you didn't say what was wrong with IE8 or why you don't want to switch to IE9. Be that as it may, first thing I'd try is resetting IE8 to its default settings. Many times that will fix the problem.

Reset Internet Explorer 8 settings

It just acts weired it's slow sometimes it goes to the desk top then comes back to where I was..

I'm sure IE8 comes pre-installed with Windows 7, have you tried marsmimar suggestions?

Since, IE8 is a pre-installed program which cannot be removed, then have you tried using SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker, and then a Repair Install if the System File Checker detects any problems.

Have you performed a full AV scan of your system?
