    KB2744842 Problems

    Hi Guys,

I have Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 bit with Internet Explorer 8.

I installed KB2744842 today and was instructed by Windows to restart my computer. Upon rebooting I got a BSOD... with windows failing to boot. I had Windows then run a start up repair.

Anyway... I got Windows to load properly, thankfully. However... other people on the Microsoft's Community Boards are reporting this same issue, so I am wondering if this update has some sort of incompatibilities with IE-8.

I installed some other Microsoft updates today and had no problems with those upon rebooting.

I don't know whether the update is compatible with I.E.8.
    I would suggest using I.E.9
