Problem with Flash, Java Applet, Java Script and IE9
Hi all you geeks out there, I desperately need your help. I'm running Windows 7, Home Premium, Service Pack 1. I have Flash Version 11.4.02.278 installed. Flash doesn't run with IE9 on the website Welcome to Apex Consulting Services. It runs fine on the same website when browsing with Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. Same happens with Java Applets. For both Java and Flash, I get the message "An add-on for this website failed to run". Furthermore the Javascipts don't work either.
I've tried reverting to the 32-bit version; I un-checked ActiveX filtering; I did a reset of IE9; I added apexserv.com to trusted sites. I closed and opened IE9, and rebooted my computer umpteen times during these many maneuvers, all to no avail. Everything works fine on an older laptop running IE8, but when I try on my current machine viewing IE9 "as IE8", that doesn't work either. Can anybody help?
