Windows 7: lockPref not working in 32-bit firefox

lockPref not working in 32-bit firefox

I've got two computers both running Windows 7, one is 64bit and another is 32bit.

Following the settings listed here, I've been able to get firefox to set the network proxy settings to auto-detect on the 64-bit computer. Mirroring these settings on the 32-bit system doesn't work though, the only difference I can see is the file hierarchy, but I don't think that would be the cause of the issue due to how FireFox loads and generates profiles.

Any suggestions?

Go to Knowledge Base - MozillaZine Knowledge Base , and, in the Search box, enter "auto-detect proxy"; perhaps something in the results of that search will help you.
