IE9 browser load issue - cant click or scroll or type

Hi earlier today all of a sudden ie9 would not full load, it just sat there processing, could not click, type, scroll, anything.

So i unstalled it, and when i went to reinstall it, the windows update failed on IE9 install over and over again, even when i DL it from MS and tried manual install it still failed.

I read and installed the hotfix and a few other recommended auto fixers from MS and still nothing.

I was actually typing a thread here and i needed the error code so i tried one last time to install to get the error code and it finally installed.

I thought my issues were over, not quite. I still cannot use it, i cant click i cant, type, i cant do anything with it at all. I cant even click help to get the version because its all locked up

    i did find this.

Internet Explorer can't type in text boxes | Quality IT Services and Internet Solutions

but i dont want to register files i know nothing about and i dont know if that is the problem or not.

all my other browsers work fine, FF, chrome, Opera. But IE9 is not working. I am on Win7 prof 64.. thanks

Hi one more update, i found this also.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic457041.html

At first i just did the properties on the icon and then clicked advanced and then just selected run as admin. And then i said wait not im not gonna do that.

So that link i think its post 14 thats what worked for me, no way i was gonna reinstall windows like the post above that one, so i started disabling add ons. I did shockwave and adobe first and sure enough i had the same prob the post 14 had, it was flashplayer.

so i removed shockwave and flashplayer and rebooted. Now my video did go nuts for a bit, i even got the blue screen cause i guess my video driver needed that, but i quickly restarted and grabbed adobe again and all is well again. I uncheck run as admin and it loads find.

Howerver i cant download shockwave because for some reason their download does not work.

hope this helps and saves you hours of hassle.
