E-mail folder in Outlook 2010 disappeared. How do I find it?

    Hi Guys.

A subsidiary folder of my Inbox folder has disappeared. How do I find it?

Johnwilson8011, Welcome to the windows 7 forum

I have seen this same problem where the users inadvertantly moved the folder underneath another folder. I would check your folders with the + symbol and
see if it is now under another folder.

Otherwise you might want to check your deleted messages folder to see if it is there.

    Thanks, Richnrockville.

I checked both of those options already without success. Somehow I must have delted the entire folder. Do you know where deleted folders go?

John, I do believe that once you delete a folder, it is gone to the bit bucket in the sky. You might want to look in your archives if you have one and have been archiving.

Or better yet, if you have made an image lately or done a windows 7 backup, it could be in your archives.

Hi John, I realise that your thread is now a week old, but just in case you still need to find that folder - it may have been misplaced by accidentally 'pushing' it into another folder.

Here is how you could search for it:
