IE8 and Hotmail

I have Win 7 Ultimate, 32 bit and IE8. Is there ANY way when I click on the "Read Mail" tab on the toolbar, it will bring up Hotmail? I have read other posts re: making Hotmail the default program when you click on links, but I just want to open Hotmail without having to type in my name and password everytime. Hopefully someone knows how to do this. Thanks very much

Hello and welcome number 6 a screen shot would be good.

Now if you have a hotmail account then I am assuming you have a Windows Live account so why not download Windows Live Mail and add the hotmail account to it? You can then add the WLM icon to the taskbar and just click on it. To sign in you only need your Windows Live ID and password - tick remember me and you are fixed.

One thing is if you use CCleaner then remember to SAVE the cookie for Windows Live stuff.
