Is it? My bad. Is there something specific you don't like about IE8 or you just don't like it in general? Have you considered using any alternative such as Firefox?

IE8 still has a few issues that should be ironed out soon when it is final, but in the meanwhile try using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. It would be highly unusual for a bank to rely entirely on one browser only - hardly customer oriented is it?

Have you tried using IE8 in compatibility mode (options)?

Hmm, you might want to communicate with them and see if they have a solution. You could also try to adjust the active x settings in Tools-Internet Options. The security tab- custom level. Altering some of the active x settings in there may work but I caution, changing these from the default settings may not be safe. You could try it though and see if it works, then reset to default after you are done to be safe.

Well, ie8 breaks MS products too

Well, IE8 break other MS products too.
As it is, MS Flight Simulator X (FSX) uses (some type of) html to display the all so vital "kneeboard", and for whatever reason, with ie8, the kneeboard is broken.
Where the content usually goes, there's now a big black square.
Very irritating, very bad that this happens to an MS program.

I did try after reading this thread, to enable "compatibility mode" for all pages, but that hasn't helped.

So a big and a big to MS for that.
