    Cant open links

Whilst trying to make Adobe Reader X1 work I have inadvertently upset the settings on my computer, (somnething that has happened before) and cannot open any links on my screen. A while ago someone in the forum sent me an address where I picked up the Microsoft Trouble shooting site and I was able to fix the problem. Can someone please help??

I believe this is it Ron:

Hyperlinks are not working in Outlook

    Here is the Fixit site:

Microsoft Fix it Solution Center: troubleshooting software issues

I just used the search box at top, and used the beginning of the error messgae from your screen shot

    PDF links

Thanks A Guy. I opened a PDF file from the internet, saved it to my desk top then opened Adobe Reader 9. In Adobe Reader 9, I went to Open, selected the file I wanted from my Desk Top and up came the file I wanted!!!

Mind you, that was in Adobe Reader 9, not X1 which I still think is not compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium, maybe Adobe have not sorted the problem out yet??

    Thanks for your help,

    Regards,

    A happy RonBin79 (now 80)
