Windows 7: Unable to download anything from my browser

Unable to download anything from my browser

So anytime I go to download anything from google chrome I get the error

" Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\username\insertfilenamehere'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. "

I've also tried internet explorer, and it does the same thing. I was going to download firefox to try it on that however I can't even download it. If I change the location of where I'm downloading to it simply states that path in the error instead. Does anyone have any suggestions?

DreamO, welcome to the windows 7 forum.

It looks to me that you are not in administrator mode. It won't allow you to create files in the directory.
You need to change the security tab on the directory while in admin mode so that the regular user can
do anything to that directory.
