Windows 7: Any UPEK users able to help confirm a problem?

I use upek for fingerprint managing of passwords, etc. I have noticed that IE8 is randomly dropping characters as I type. I have also found that the problem is most pronounced when IE8 is downloading anything - esp. in other tabs that may be open.

When I uninstall UPEK, the problem goes away... So, naturally, I believe the problem may lie with UPEK, - which UPEK flatly denies.

So, If anyone out there is using the latest UPEK software and drivers, would you mind opening a lot of tabs in the background and while they are loading, trying to type in a text box in a open IE webpage? Then posting the results here?
