Can't download anything with Chrome, Mozilla and/or IE accept torrents

Problem is intermittent and happens with both Chrome & Firefox and across multiple download locations. Have just done a fresh install of W7-64bit and use paid version Avast Pro Antivirus. How it occurs is when I look at Chrome or Firefox Download window I can see the download happening with...

I don't reeally know where I should post this but, I guess "Browsers" section works. So my Chrome download speed average at 90-150kbps while my torrent average is 700kbps - 2 mbps. Is this normal? If not, is there a way to increase or "fix" my browser download?

I hav window 7 installed on my PC............ Wheneber I make a GOOGLE or Yahoo search..... and click on the links of the results of the search..... it shows a single webpage of an advertisement of some (100ksearchers.com) all the time .... why is this happening...................I'm really fed up...

Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the default icons for IE, Mozilla, and Chrome. I tried the maunally way but windows explorer crashes. Help would be appreciated.
