Certain web pages are grayed

Is it a viewer program problem when certain web site pages begin to gray out so they are not visible? Or is it a browser setting that is not working?

Hi,

Check if the problem is seen with an alternate browser Like Firefox or Chrome. If No, follow the next steps.

Run a IE reset Fix it http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9646978

Try uninstalling and reinstalling IE Use the following FIXIT for uninstalling the same http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9787447 then proceed with downloading an updated version of IE from the windows website http: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/internet-explorer/download-ie

If the above step fails try creating a New User to check if the problem persists.

Welcome to Seven Forums LJBAY60. When this happens, do you get a Not responding message in the top of the browser window? Are you able to close the window, or use the back button, or must you close the browser? Which browser are you currently using? If this is a repeatable problem with certain sites, Debbie's suggestion above of an alternative browser may help track this down. If it is random, it will be harder to do.

You can also try using IE (No add-ons) and see if the problem persists (assuming you are using IE currently).

Start> In search box type Internet explorer> Click on Internet explorer (No add-ons) in results above.

If problem persists, you can also try a clean start to see if something is conflicting
