    Links -all- crash

Do not know where to properly post this, so pls help directly or advise . . . where to go

clicking on links - all - crash. Always need to first remove the http:// (https://) then load balance in IE.

    Thank You!

Welcome to Seven Forums Qutron. Some more info needed please. When you click on a link where? On a web page? In email? Everywhere? What happens exactly? The browser crashes (closes)? Have you tried the same links in another browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera)? You say if you take (for instance) http://www.amazon.com, it will "crash"? But if you put www.amazon.com, it will open correctly? Does this same behavior occur when manually typing in addresses?

Let us know what links crash means exactly. Any error messages, etc. A Guy

A Guyu, Thank You for replying.

Links in mail, this mail from you, clicking on the link generated an MS Outlook msg: "This opr.. has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your Sys Admin."

Links in IE Favorites work fine.

There is an Amazon link in this form's reply: Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more. Clicking on it generates the msg. If I copy the www.amazon.com part only to IE, I can get there fine.

    Tks!

    A Guy:

Just went to IE. Entered a link starting out with http://. . . worked fine.

Appears that links in Outlook only (??) are those that fail. Repeating, clicking on any link in mail generates an M Outlook msg: "This opr has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect . . . . ."

    Thank you, A Guy

A Guy, You "work" late hours, sounds almost like long time ago back in college. And Yes, you clearly enjoy what you do. I highly respect those who know their products.

BTW - used to go to Newsgroups for support like you. My newsreader crashed. Glad to have found the "Seven Forum".
