Are you trying to create a bootable DVD and/or flash drive so you can reinstall only Windows 7? Or are you trying to make an exact copy of the computer's hard drive with all installed programs, customizations, updates, etc? Sorry for my confusion

If you want a bootable DVD of Windows 7 only, the easiest way is to download the official Microsoft ISO and save it to your desktop. Select the version that was originally installed on the computer. Once the ISO is downloaded, insert a blank DVD in the disk drive, right-click the file and select "burn disk image".

If you want a bootable flash drive of Windows 7 only, it would probably help to use the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool and follow the instructions in Part 2 of this tutorial:

If you want an exact copy of the entire hard drive you'd want to look at creating a system image and saving it to an external hard drive. That image could then be used to restore the computer to exactly how it was when the image was created. Windows 7 has a built in imaging tool or you may want to use a free program called Macrium.

Again, my apologies if I completely misunderstood things.

It's the first option, but I was trying to burn directly to the DVD and it asks me if I want it as a flash usb unity or mastered. I'm gonna burn it to the desktop first, as you say!

Good afternoon,

After formating the disk, everything seems alright. But I've got a problem... Forgot to make back-up of Office 2010, Visio and Project and know when I try it I receive the answer that my product key is no longer usable! I'm gonna ask Microsoft why...

Thanks for all your help!

After trying again, got all that was missing! And outlook too.

All the received mails automaticaly appeared. But not the sent ones!

How can I with the back-up previously made of all the e-mails put the ones missing in outlook?
