    How do I delete inbox.com and snap.do?

I am using Windows 7 64-bit. I use both Google Chrome and Windows Explorer. When I launch Chrome, a tab for Inbox. com and a tab for Snap.do both appear. I've tried everything I can think of (included RevoUninstaller) and all the tips that are posted on the web to get rid of these, but nothing seems to work. BTW, there aren't any toolbars that I can find, just the tabs that are created. Also, many tips refer to the wrench icon in the Chrome toolbar, but I can't find that either.
Can someone tell me how to get rid of these?
    HELP!
    Thanks,
    Mark

The problem with the "wrench icon" is because with the newest update, it was changed to 3 grey lines. It should be just under the button to close the window.
Click the 3 stripes button, and then go to "settings". Under "On Startup", choose the option that you want, probably "Open the New Tab page".

    Good luck!

Thanks. The tabs don't start up now. Is there something left somewhere on my computer that needs to be deleted?

    Great explanation above

Added video encase someone else uses search function and doesn't still understand how to change their homepage via the settings available.

P.S. OP it might be a good idea to check the programs installed on your computer via the control panel (anything you are 100% sure you don't need, remove it and do a virus scan just to be sure)

That's quite useless, because you can simply search Google by using Chrome's address bar

I prefer not to use Speed Dial, because every time you open the New Tab, the Speed Dial renders again. They need to make a feature where it only polls for changes every 10 New Tab openings or something.
And also, if you Control+A (select all) the Speed Dial page, it selects everything, and it looks like cruddy HTML :P So unlike the Chrome New Tab page :)

No you're doing it wrong :P

I've got the logos saved so it means the dial doesn't need to render again.
