    MS Outlook 2003 - Contacts

I am thinking of changing my ISP and am dreading the notifying of change of email address. Remember last one..... shudder.....

Is there a way of easily grouping all contacts?

As a silver, rather incompetent user, I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks

I use Outlook 2003. You can create a group and include whoever you want in that. But there is no way of automatically including everyone, for example, in a mass message such as to notify of new e-mail address.

To create a group, select new e-mail entry and then "distribution list". You can select who you want in that list.

I maintain an e-mail list for a club and the "distribution list" is how I group all the club's e-mail addresses together. However some ISP's have a limit on the number of addressees in one e-mail. I have Roadrunner and I have three separate distribution lists so I can cover all the club members and when I send out notices I have to send three separate messages (one for each distribution list group).

But, as this will be a one time notification its just as easy to just manually do it with e-mails with multiple "BCC" addresses in each e-mail. Use the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) so that the addressees only see their e-mail address, not everyone's.
