    Forwarding mail?

I currently have a @hotmail.co.uk email address. I've now got an @outlook.com email address.

The @hotmail.co.uk email address I don't use anymore but I still need it active as my local doctors, dentist know it etc...

I currently set it up so that my @hotmail.co.uk will forward my emails to my @outlook.com

However when I login to my @hotmail.co.uk email address the junk emails don't forward. Sometimes the junk emails are actually important so I'm wondering if any of you know how I can get my "junk" emails from my @hotmail.co.uk email account to automatically forward to my @outlook.com email account.

Btw the Inbox on the @hotmail.co.uk forwards emails correctly.

Hello mangoh and welcome to the forums

I don't know of a way to disable the spam filter, but you could just add the doctor and dentist to your Hotmail contacts then they won't be put in the spam folder :)

hmm doctor and dentist were just examples. There are sometimes websites that I join that get put into the junk folder. I don't want to have to add all the people I want email from to my contacts as that would take ages.

you can switch the hotmail account to the new outlook without changing your account details ,including your email address.

You can keep your address the same, when changing from Hotmail to Outlook. Done myself...
This means you still send messages from your @hotmail.co.uk, but are using the Outlook interface.

    Thanks.

    Great solution :)

So much better than than the 'forwarding mail' option I previously used as every now and then I kept checking back to ensure if it was forwarding mail correctly and then I thought what is the point of having email forwarded if I still have to check both accounts.

Meh renamed email address and now one email address has became an alias, much easier to read my mail now.
