Thunderbird v17 Question

I am trying to give some order to my girlfriends Address Book. The default is Personal Address Book in Thunderbird. I am trying to get her email contacts in that Address Book. I tried to import them, but they always import into an Address Book that is created from my import. Anyone have an idea how to get the contacts in the Personal Address Book?

Hello bigmck. As most know, I don't actually know anything, but can sometimes find out It does seem most complain about importing always creating a new list, but apparently the work around is to then drag and drop the adresses to the Personal folder, then delete the now empty added folder. Hope this works for you.

After about five questions to the Mozilla Thunderbird Forum yesterday, they finally told me what you did, exactly. I appreciate your reply.

Something I have always wondered about, is that your dog in the Avatar? If you took the picture, it is a great one.

No, it's just an avatar that spoke to me when I was looking for one. Have used it only ever since. Only use another for a few days at Xmas
