Message cannot be found in Windows live mail and will not delete

Hello:

All of a sudden using Win7, Windows Live mail I click on a message and get "Message can not be found" and I cannot delete it. If it is in a group, the group cannot be deleted.

Can anyone please show me or tell me how to remedy this problem?

Welcome to Seven Forums Uncle Gus. This is often caused by the mail scanning portion of various Antivirus programs. It's possible an AV update caused this. You could try disabling your AV temporarily to see if it "fixes" the problem. You might also have the ability to just disable the email scanner.

Message cannot be found in Windows live mail and will not delete

Hi;

Thanks for the reply.

As my Cox Webmail has the same email addresses as my Windows Live Mail and is setup to save all emails until deleted. I uninstalled Windows Live Mail and am now using Cox Advanced Webmail which has a much better configuration than WLM.

Best regards
