    History icon changed

Hope everyone had a good Turkey day. Today my problem is related to the icons on the right side of my computer. The middle icon, a star, show the sub topics favorites, feeds and history. In the past I could tap the history icon and get a weekly run down on what sites I visited. Now all I get is a sub topic of search history and a box to type in what I want to search. I want my favorites, feeds and history to work like they use to. Can anyone help?

It is only the history tab that doesn't work correctly, correct? Try this:

Open IE> Click on the Favorites (Star) icon> Click on the History tab> Click the little down arrow to the right of Search History and choose another choice from the drop down list (whichever suits your needs better)

That should do it. A Guy

Odd. You might try Re-registering the dlls for IE using Capt. Jack's IE Restotator

SF IE Restorator - Troubleshooting General Issues with IE

Choose the correct tab for your type of operating system (x86 = 32 Bit, x64 = 64 Bit)

If no help you can try resetting IE. Note the warning:

    Internet Explorer - Reset

If you know when this problem started, you can try a System Restore Point from before it began

    System Restore

You can try running the System File Checker

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

You can also try this repair script

    Internet Explorer FAQ - Repair IE8 (IE7) and IE9

There is always Uninstall and reinstall

How do I install or uninstall Internet Explorer 9?
